Abstract:
The new Wahiawa Civic Center (WCC) will replace the current WCC and centralize the current State agencies, the current Wahiawa District Courthouse, and two City & County agency divisions to best serve Wahiawa and outlying communities. The re-development will include a new Wahiawa District Court building and a State Office building. The new courthouse will replace the existing facility located on Kilani Avenue and will have two courtrooms, Judges Chambers, a Probation office, and Court Administrative and support areas. The State Office building will house the current WCC tenants (Women, Infants and Children; UH College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources; Public Health Nursing; Adult Mental Health; and Benefit, Employment and Support Services Division offices) with space allocated for the City & County of Honolulu Satellite City Hall Division and Motor Vehicle Licensing Permit Division.
